Multi-Factor Market Segmentation and Urbanization Quality: A Literature Review Based on Structural-Form Estimation

摘要 要素市场分割既是传统城镇化中城市偏向型制度安排的结果,同时也已成为阻碍新型城镇化高质量发展的重要原因。普遍规律表明,要素市场分割降低了城市生产率,造成城市规模体系扁平化,并对城市居民的福利提升具有异质性影响。集聚经济与消费的"拥挤效应"是要素市场分割影响城市化质量的主要机制。本文聚焦土地、资本与劳动力三类要素市场分割,以结构式估计的研究范式为线索,分析要素市场分割对城市化质量的作用机制及其影响。后续的相关研究可从不同要素市场分割的相互传导、区域的异质性影响等方面进行拓展。 The segmentation of factor market is not only the result of the traditional city-oriented system arrangement, but also the origin of hindering the high-quality development of new-type urbanization. It is of great significance to identify and evaluate the effect of factor market segmentation on the urbanization quality, to deepen the reform of market allocation of factors and to promote the development of new-type urbanization. Different from the research paradigm of reduced-form estimation, structural-form estimation can conduct counterfactual based on real data, which has more policy implications. This study systematically combs the evolution of the phenomenon of Chinese factor market segmentation with the clue of the research paradigm of structural estimation, and also analyzes the mechanism and influence of market segmentation on the urbanization quality.Subsequent studies can be expanded from the mutual transmission of market segmentation of different factors and the influence of regional heterogeneity.
