Cultivation of Labor Spirit Among College Students Through Volunteer Service

志愿服务与劳动精神具有高度的契合性和关联性,两者在文化传承上同源共流,在价值取向上同心同德,在总体指向上同向同行。志愿服务能深化大学生对劳动精神的理解认识,增进大学生对劳动精神的价值认同,使劳动精神从“隐”走向“显”。高校要从强化志愿服务育人理念,打造志愿服务项目品牌;建立志愿服务长效机制,完善志愿服务评价体系;发挥志愿服务的育人功能,促进大学生对劳动精神的价值认同、情感认同和实践认同。

Volunteerism and labor spirit are highly compatible and related.They are of the same nature in terms of cultural heritage,value orientation and overall direction.Volunteer service can deepen college students'understanding of the spirit of labor,enhance their value identification with it,and transform it from“hidden”to“visible”.Colleges and universities should increase their awareness of nurturing students through volunteer service and build strong volunteer service projects.They must establish a long-term mechanism and a solid evaluation system for volunteer service to give full play to the educational function of volunteer service and strengthen students'value identification with labor spirit,affective commitment to labor and actual passion for labor.
