The CPC's Century-Old Exploration of Building Theoretical Confidence through Theoretical Innovation:Motivation,Process and Experience

中国共产党的百年历史,就是一部不断推动理论创新、增强理论自信的历史。对百年大党理论创新史的研究,有利于深化对党的理论创新与理论自信内在关系的认识。百年大党理论创新既是理论自身发展的生命和灵魂,也是理论自信形成、发展和提升的动力。百年大党以理论创新铸就理论自信的光辉历程可分为以理论创新最新成果实现理论自信的奠基时期、以理论创新实践机制推动理论自信的发展时期、以理论创新的卓越品质提升理论自信的跃升时期。百年大党以理论创新铸就理论自信的经验有三点:一是要一如既往地用马克思主义指导理论创新,铸就理论自信的灵魂,筑牢理论自信的思想基础;二是要一以贯之地依据实事求是的原则,把理论创新同中国的国情相结合,不断增强理论自信的社会基础;三是要始终如一地坚持以人民为中心,将理论创新同为人民谋幸福结合起来,壮大理论自信的人民基础。

The centennial history of the Communist Party of China is a history of constantly promoting theoretical innovation and enhancing theoretical confidence.The study of the history of the CPC's theoretical innovation helps to deepen the understanding of the internal relationship between the CPC's theoretical innovation and its theoretical confidence.The CPC's theoretical innovation is not only the life and soul of its own theoretical development,but also the driving force for the formation,development and promotion of theoretical confidence.The glorious course of the CPC to build its theoretical confidence through theoretical innovation can be divided into three stages:laying the foundation with the latest achievements of theoretical innovation,promoting its development with the practical mechanism of theoretical innovation and enhancing its theoretical self-confidence with the excellent quality of theoretical innovation.There are three pieces of experience of the CPC in forging theoretical confidence through theoretical innovation:First,we should,as always,use Marxism to guide theoretical innovation,cast the soul of theoretical confidence,and build a solid ideological foundation of theoretical confidence;Second,based on the principle of seeking truth from facts,we should combine theoretical innovation with China's national conditions and constantly enhance the social basis of theoretical confidence;and the Third,we need to consistently put people first,combine theoretical innovation with the pursuit of happiness for the people,and strengthen the people's foundation for theoretical confidence.
