摘要
文章以哥伦比亚大学谭瑟勒教授的《目录学概论》课程为案例,分析了西方目录学课程的思路和实践,试图以此为中国目录学教育的发展提供启示。研究发现该课程的主要经验包括:以分析目录学为重点教学内容,重视实践中可操作的方法技术,课程体系暗合目录学发展历史,为学习研究提供丰富参考文献。基于此,文章对目录学教育提出了三个建议:汇集多方力量,完善目录学教学框架体系建设;重视书目实践,重建目录学教育与实践的联系;重新寻找定位,关注目录学对传统文化的价值。
This paper takes the course“Introduction to Bibliography”by Professor Tanselle of Columbia University as a case,analyzes the thinking and practice of western bibliography courses,and tries to provide enlightenment for the development of bibliography education in China.It is found that the main experience of the course includes:making analytical bibliography the key teaching content,attaching importance to the operational methods and techniques in the practice of analysis and description,setting the curriculum system based on the development history of bibliography,and providing abundant references for study and research.Based on this,the article further proposes three suggestions for bibliography education:(1)bring together various forces to improve the construction of teaching framework system of bibliography;(2)attach importance to bibliographic practice and rebuild the connection between bibliography education and practice;(3)re-find the position and highlight the value of bibliography in the cultural field.
