摘要
流线可视化是可视化领域的一个重要研究方向,通过矢量数据可视化可以直观高效地反映出的流场所包含的结构信息与运动规律.本文研究了二维流场中的流线放置及其间距选择,提出了信息熵控制的流场动态间距流线放置算法.通过将流场划分为不同区域,并根据区域内的矢量数据计算信息熵,将信息熵引入到流线间距计算中,从而实现动态控制流线间距.该算法生成的流场中变化剧烈的区域的流线间距较小,放置密集,而在变化较平缓的区域中流线间距较大,放置较稀疏.实验结果表明,本文算法直观地突出流场中重要区域的特征并使非重要的区域稀疏简洁,提高了可视化的效果,可以适用于不同的流场.
Streamline visualization is an important research direction in the field of visualization,through the visualization of vector data,the structural information and motion law of flow field can be reflected directly and efficiently. This paper studies the placement of streamlines and selection of streamline spacing in a two-dimensional flow field,and proposes a flow field dynamic spacing streamline placement algorithm controlled by information entropy. By dividing the flow field into different regions and calculating the information entropy according to the vector data in the region,the information entropy is introduced into the calculation of streamline spacing,so as to realize the dynamic control of streamline spacing. In the flow field generated by the algorithm,the streamline spacing is small and dense in the area with severe change,while in the area with gentle change,the streamline spacing is larger and the placement is sparse.The experimental results show that the algorithm intuitively highlights the characteristics of important areas in the flow field and makes the non important areas sparse and concise,which improves the visualization effect. It is suitable for different flow fields.
