Research progress on angiogenesis in deer antler cartilage

鹿茸是一种名贵中药,具有独特的生物学特性,也是再生医学领域优秀的动物模型。鹿茸中血管丰富,不仅分布于皮下血管层,而且在软骨内也含有大量血管网,为鹿茸组织的快速生长提供营养物质,保证皮肤、软骨和骨等组织协调快速生长发育。文章主要对鹿茸中血管的起源与分布、结构特点以及鹿茸软骨内血管生成机制进行了综述,以期为关节软骨损伤修复、伤口愈合等方面的临床研究提供基础。

Deer antler is a precious Chinese medicine, and it is an excellent animal model in the field of regenerative medicine due to its unique biological characteristics. Deer antler is rich in blood vessels, which is not only distributed in the subcutaneous blood vessel layer, but also contains a large amount of blood vessel network in the cartilage. These blood vessels in antler provides nutrients for the rapid growth of antler tissue, ensuring the coordinated and rapid growth of skin, cartilage, bone and other tissues. In this paper, the origin and distribution, structural characteristics, and mechanism of endochondral angiogenesis of deer antler were reviewed, in order to provide a data basis for clinical research on articular cartilage damage repair and wound healing.
