摘要
3D打印通常利用水平面将三维模型分为厚度相同的若干层,打印头根据层片形状挤出材料。当三维模型表面弯曲程度较大时,打印制品表面会呈现明显的阶梯效应,降低制件精度。为提高制件的质量,提出一种曲面分层方法。该方法通过分离模型曲面表面,将模型分割成曲面分层区域和平面分层区域。在曲面分层区域通过曲面偏置的方式实现对模型的曲面分层,在平面分层区域采用传统的方法分层。通过扫描路径规划,得到可应用于普通FDM 3D打印机的曲面分层打印程序。试件打印验证表明,该方法能有效减少阶梯效应,增强打印制品表面质量和强度。
3D printing usually uses the horizontal plane to divide a three-dimensional model into several layers with the same thickness,and the printing head extrudes the material according to the shape of the layer.The surfaces with large curvature of the printed product will show obvious step effect,which reduces the accuracy of the part.Therefore,a curved slicing approach is proposed,which divides the model into surface layer regions and plane layer regions,by separating the surface from the model.The curved slicing method is applied by surfaces offset in the surface layer regions,and the plane slicing method is used in the plane layer regions.Then,the printing program are obtained including curved layers and plane layers scanning paths,which can be applied to a common fused deposition manufacturing(FDM)3D printer.The printed parts show that the approach can effectively reduce the step effect,enhance the surface quality and strength of the printed parts.
