Dialectical Implication of the Connotation of People's Livelihood from the Perspective of Marxism

马克思视野中的“民生”是“大民生”与“小民生”的辩证统一,是指以资本主义社会无产阶级为主体的“现实的人”的基本生存、生活、生产和发展问题,以及实现共产主义社会人类解放与人的自由全面发展的最高追求。它体现出既关注现实又观照未来、既重目的也重手段的辩证思维。民生本质属性的辩证性意蕴要求我们辩证地理解民生的特征,准确领会其历时性与共时性、抽象性与具体性以及可逆性与不可逆性的辩证统一。

The "people’s livelihood" in Marx’s vision is the dialectical unity of the "macro people’s livelihood" and the "micro people’s livelihood",which refers to the basic survival,life,production and development of "real people" with the proletariats in the capitalist society as the main body,as well as the highest pursuit of realizing human liberation and people’s free and all-round development in the Communist society.It embodies the dialectical thinking of paying attention to both reality and the future and focusing on both purpose and means.The dialectical implication of the essential attribute of people’s livelihood requires us to dialectically understand the characteristics of people’s livelihood and accurately understand the dialectical unity of diachronicity and synchronicity,abstraction and concreteness,and reversibility and irreversibility.
