In this article,applications of some new dosages forms and new techniques in cosmetics,which have been developed and applied in pharmaceutical field were reviewed.Cyclodextrin complexes technology and some microparticulate delivery systems,such as microcapsules and microspheres,liposomes and new liposomes,nanoemulsions and submicron emulsions and lipid nanoparticles were introduced in detail.Basic concepts,preparation methods,transdermal absorption,advantages and application examples in cosmetics of the related delivery systems were introduced to provide references for the industry.
