摘要
迄今,已有不少研究表明珠心算训练不仅有助于提高数学能力,还能够提高认知能力。回顾以往的文献,本文旨在阐明珠心算训练对数学认知和脑可塑的影响。珠心算是一种对数字具有独特表征方式的特殊心算方式;长期的训练有助于提高数字感知能力、计算能力以及基于视觉空间的数学能力;训练对视觉空间能力、注意力、执行功能具有迁移效应。本文还概述了珠心算训练对脑功能、脑结构和脑网络的塑造作用,以及在该领域还亟待解决的科学问题。
Previous studies have found that abacus-based mental calculation(AMC)contributes to the improvement of math ability,and even transfers to general cognitive abilities.This review aims to provide an updated overview of the training effect of AMC on mathematical cognition and brain plasticity.As a special mental arithmetic method,AMC forms the unique visual representation of numbers based on a column-based model.Our review of existing literature suggests that long-term training benefits the numerical processing efficiency,calculation ability and visuospatial math ability,and has transfer effects on visuospatial ability,attention,working memory and switch ability.It also summarizes that AMC training can change the brain function by improving the neural efficiency of frontoparietal network,shape the brain structure with higher fractional anisotropy in fiber tracts and less volume of gray matter,and also modulate the brain network by reconfiguring toward more localized processing and segregated architecture.Finally,we point out the scientific problems to be solved in this field.
