空间接近是否会影响城市产业结构升级趋同——基于空间杜宾模型的实证分析

Whether Spatial Proximity Affects the Convergence of Urban Industrial Structure Upgrading:Empirical Analysis Based on Spatial Durbin Model

本文在新经济地理学的框架下,基于空间距离的成本视角,以2005至2018年全国278个非区域中心地级市为考察样本,运用空间杜宾模型考察空间接近对区域城市产业结构升级趋同性的影响。研究表明:空间接近对产业结构升级的溢出效应十分明显,城市之间空间距离的成本缩小能够有效地促进本地城市产业结构升级,同时空间溢出效应会提升邻近等地区产业结构升级的趋同性。同时,东部地区的空间接近更容易引起城市产业结构升级趋同,而中西部地区产业发展在空间上较为独立。空间接近能通过劳动力流动促进产业结构升级趋同,通过金融集聚的方式可能会导致金融集聚对趋同性产生反向影响。

Based on the cost perspective of spatial distance in the framework of new economic geography,this paper takes 278 non-regional center prefecture-level cities in China from 2005 to 2018 as samples,and uses the spatial Dupin model to investigate the impact of spatial proximity on the convergence of regional urban industrial structure upgrading.The results show that:The spillover effect of spatial proximity on industrial structure upgrading is very obvious.The cost reduction of spatial distance between cities can effectively promote the industrial structure upgrading of local cities.Meanwhile,the spatial spillover effect will also enhance the convergence of industrial structure upgrading in neighboring areas.In the test of regional differences,the spatial proximity in the eastern region is more likely to lead to the convergence of urban industrial structure upgrading,while the industrial development in the central and western regions is more independent in space and does not form a significant spatial spillover effect.Through the intermediary mechanism test,spatial proximity can promote industrial structure upgrading and convergence through labor mobility,but financial agglomeration may have a negative effect on convergence through financial agglomeration.
