高加林活动的空间主要是高家村和县城,“城乡交叉地带”是游走于城乡之间的高加林的生存空间。被解除民办教师职位后,高加林在高家村一步步开拓自己的空间,随着进城其空间达到最大化。当被人举报回归农村,高加林的空间被挤压到农村的狭小天地,其在黄土地上的忏悔则预示着个人空间被乡村空间吞噬。个人空间的变化显示出高加林的人生悲剧,背后则是城乡二元对立的户籍制度及其影响下的个人奋斗者的时代宿命。

The space in which Gao Jialin operated was mainly the village of Gaojia and the county town,and the“urban-rural crossover zone”was the living space for Gao Jialin,who wandered between urban and rural areas.After being dismissed from his position as a private teacher,Gao Jialin developed his space in Gaojia village step by step,and maximized his space as he moved to the city.When he is reported to return to the countryside,Gao Galin’s space is squeezed into the narrow world of the countryside,and his confession on the yellow earth foreshadows the swallowing of his personal space by the rural space.The change of personal space shows the tragedy of Gao Jialin’s life,behind which is the dichotomy of urban-rural household registration system and the fate of individual strugglers under its influence.
