摘要
对人类历史作出整体描述,这在中西历史叙述史上都是重要的传统,并因文明视域的差异而形成普遍史与循环史的不同叙述模式。西方普遍史将“非西方”降格为历史总体进程中的低级阶段从而将其纳入以西方为“历史终结”的“普世文明话语”中,其实质是一种殖民与驯化。中国历史循环观是“天下”观念下“大一统”政治图景的历史表现,建构了历史演进中断裂与连续之间的张力,彰显了传统史学“形而上学”与“实际历史”之间的辩证法。
It is an important tradition to have an overall discretion to the human history evolution.Because of the difference perspectives between civilizations,it formed two different kinds of narrative pattern which are universal history and circular history.Western universal history reduce the non-western culture to lower class in the entire historical process,therefore bring these cultures into the world which western culture is supreme and the essence purpose of this action is to colonize and tame other civilizations.As for Chinese history,circular history pattern is a historical representation which was generated under the Order of Under Heaven to express the political view about unification.Besides,this pattern created a balance between disconnects and continues,and demonstrated the dialectical analysis between Metaphysic and universal history in the traditional historiography.
