摘要
舞蹈诞生于人类伊始,古人很早便开始用符号、图像、文字记录身体的形态。21世纪,随着影音设备的普及,镜头因其能完整捕捉动态的身体和场景成为书写舞蹈的重要方式。文章以"民族舞蹈传承人影像志研究"项目赴青海玉树调研、拍摄和影片制作过程为基础,探索总结舞蹈影像志的概念、范畴、意义、方法和实践经验。舞蹈影像志是用影音技术纪录并展示舞蹈形态和文化的研究性文本,在舞蹈学和影视人类学(Visual Anthropology)发展的背景下,舞蹈影像志以镜头的方式探索和书写田野中的舞蹈文化,既是舞蹈人类学(Dance Anthropology)或民族舞蹈学(Ethnodancology)的研究成果,又可作为舞蹈学研究的新方法。
Dance was born at the beginning of mankind. The ancients began early to record the forms of body with symbols,images and words. In the 21st century,with the popularity of audio-visual equipment,the lens has become an important way to write dance since it can completely capture the dynamic body and scene. This paper explores the concept,category,significance,method and practical experience of visual ethnodancology from the investigation,shooting and film production of the project "Research on Visual Anthropology of Inheritors of Ethnic Dance"in Yushu,Qinghai. Visual ethnodancology is a research text that records and displays dance forms and culture by means of audio-visual technology. In the context of dance studies and visual anthropology,visual ethnodancology explores and documents dance culture in the field through lens. It is not only a research achievement of dance anthropology or ethnodancology,but also a new method of dance studies. Visual ethnodancology is an innovative thinking on the way of writing dance.
