论先秦楚舞的美学特征

On the Aesthetic Characteristics of Chu Dance in the Pre-Qin Period

先秦时期,周室雅乐、蛮夷巫舞、郑卫新声三种乐舞文化交融发展。楚舞在楚人身份意识之自强自立精神和楚地老庄哲学之自然观与辩证法的辉映下,博采众长、为我所用,逐渐形成轻柔与重拙、繁俗与简雅、今妍与古质相统一的美学特征。更进一步说,楚舞以其充满辩证色彩的美学特征,彰显了楚文化的包容性和创新性,顺应了时代发展潮流与民族审美趋尚,故能成其大而就其深,在中国舞蹈史上写下浓墨重彩的华章。

During the Pre-Qin Period,three branches of music and dance culture,i. e. court music of the Zhou Dynasty,witch dance of the barbarians,and new music of Zheng and Wei,mingled and developed together. The Chu dance made extensive use of different music and dance forms,and Lao-Zhuang’s philosophy of nature and dialectical thought to express the self-reliant spirit of Chu people’s identity consciousness. As a result,the Chu dance achieved a new aesthetic synthesis during this period and became a forerunner of the Han dynasty dance,as it gradually reached a balance between gentleness and clumsiness,copiousness and elegance,delicacy and clarity. Furthermore,the Chu dance’s dialectical aesthetic features demonstrated the inclusiveness and innovation of Chu culture,and conformed to the development of the times and the trend of national aesthetics,which made it a particularly significant position in the history of Chinese dance.
