Analysis of Philip Treacy's Hat Design Technique and Creative Use in Clothing

基于对菲利普·崔西(Philip Treacy)帽饰设计作品的实物分析,结合相关文献与资料的整理,对帽饰设计中结构、材料、工艺进行研究,概括其个人表现手法及风格特征,归纳了帽饰设计装饰材料、工艺、色彩的运用方法,并通过局部借鉴法、直接运用法、创新设计法将其运用到现代创意服装设计中。分析认为,帽饰与服装同属于服饰设计范畴,帽饰设计的构成元素巧妙有序,可根据服装设计的审美需求和创意空间,将其元素融入服装设计,进而探索服装与服饰品之间的借鉴设计及相互关系。

Based on the analysis of Philip Treacy's hats,this paper investigates the structure,fabric and techniques of the hats,combined with relevant and observant and material collation.Then the expression technique and style of the hats were summarized and the decorating materials,technology and color are studied.Finally the element features is applied in modern creative clothing design through partial reference,direct application and innovative design.According to the research,hat and clothing belong to the category of overall clothing design.The composition elements of hat design are ingenious and orderly,which can be combined with the aesthetic needs and creative space of clothing design.The hat element is applied to the reference design of clothing and accessories as well as the innovation of clothing design.
