The paper discusses a special CCTV program called The Distant Home:One Belt,One Road.This program explores the“city landscape”of different countries along the Silk Road through two parts:natural landscape and cultural landscape.The program specifically uses the way of walking experience to tell the city landscape.Then it studies how the program has established interactions between historical memory and reality to show the diversified historical connections and exchanges of civilizations between Chinese culture and the cultures in the countries along the Silk Road.
