Preliminary study on molecular characteristics of porcine interleukin-22

白细胞介素-22(interleukin-22,IL-22),最近被鉴定为IL-10家族和T型细胞因子的新型成员,但在畜禽中其生物学意义尚不清楚。通过克隆和分析猪IL-22(poIL-22)基因,发现poIL-22编码区由573个核苷酸组成,具有191个氨基酸,poIL-22的组织分布表明,poIL-22在猪黏膜组织和心血管系统中具有较高的表达。在畜禽的IL-22中,它们具有IL-10家族特征,并涵盖一系列序列或功能特征,包括理化特性、结构特征和遗传结构。此外,进化树也揭示了畜禽IL-22之间的密切关系。这项研究是首次对poIL-22的详细讨论,也是有关畜禽IL-22的系统报告。

Interleukin-22(IL-22)has recently been identified as a novel member of IL-10 family and T cell-derived cytokine,but its biological significance is unclear in livestock.By cloning and analyzing porcine IL-22(poIL-22)gene,we found that the coding region of poIL-22 consisted of 573 nucleotides encoding 191 amino acids,the tissue distribution of poIL-22 showed that poIL-22 had a higher expression in porcine mucosal tissues and cardiovascular vascular system.Livestock IL-22 had family signature of IL-10 and covered a series of sequence or functional features,including physiochemical properties,structure characteristics and genetic structure.In addition,evolutionary tree also revealed a close relationship among livestock IL-22.This study was a foregoer to discuss poIL-22 in detail,and also a systemic report for livestock IL-22.
