Archives are not only the carrier of data data,but also the witness of human knowledge,technology and cultural progress.In the era of underdeveloped information technology,data was mostly manually recorded on paper files,and paper files were collected and managed.With the vigorous development of computer information technology,the way of collecting and recording archival information gradually becomes data-oriented,and paper files gradually fade out of the historical stage.Based on this,the article begins with the practical significance of computer technology in the application of modern archives management,combined with the shortcomings of computer technology in the application of archives management,and then discusses how to better use computer technology in modern archives management.
