禅宗传心与《金刚经》的中国化

A Study on Mind-nature Theory of the Ch’an Sect to the Tendency of Mahayana Expressed in the Buddhist Thoughts of The Diamond Sutra

《金刚经》本为大乘空宗三论宗的立宗经典。禅宗五祖弘忍时起,此经典替代《楞伽经》成为禅宗的立宗经典。自此,《金刚经》的流传便与禅宗的传播密不可分。禅宗在唐及后代成为中国佛教的代名词,传播广泛、影响深远。禅宗五祖弘忍之后,六祖慧能为禅宗思想增添了心性论,即返观本心性、见性成佛。禅宗传“心”,为阐释《金刚经》的思想提供了新路径,使其的解义逐渐入世化、世俗化。基于此,在禅宗的心性理论填充下,《金刚经》的义学内涵也逐渐融合了讲“空”和识“有”,体现出入世的中国化倾向。

The Diamond Sutra used to be the fundamental Buddhism sutra for the Three Treatise School.During the period of the fifth ancestor Hong-ren,he made the sutra worked as the fundamental one for the Ch’an sect.Therefore,the dissemination of the sutra began to have close relationship with Ch’an.Hui-neng,the sixth ancestor of the Ch’an sect added new Buddhist thoughts for the sutra,which is known as Mind-nature theory.From then on,the tendency of illumination for The Diamond Sutra began to contain the Buddhist connotation of Mahayana and positive utilitarianism.
