完美主义错误担忧对大学生社交外表焦虑的影响:一个链式中介模型

The Relationship between Perfectionism Concern over Mistakes and Social Appearance Anxiety: The Mediating Effects of Fear of Negative Evaluation and Intolerance of Uncertainty

目的:探讨完美主义错误担忧对大学生社交外表焦虑的影响以及负面评价恐惧和无法忍受不确定性的链式中介作用。方法:采用多维完美主义错误担忧分量表、简版负面评价恐惧量表、简版无法忍受不确定性量表和社交外表焦虑量表对630名大学生进行施测。结果:(1)完美主义错误担忧、负面评价恐惧、无法忍受不确定性和社交外表焦虑四者之间彼此显著正相关;(2)负面评价恐惧和无法忍受不确定性在完美主义错误担忧和社交外表焦虑之间的中介作用显著;(3)负面评价恐惧-无法忍受不确定性的链式中介作用显著。结论:负面评价恐惧和无法忍受不确定性在完美主义错误担忧对大学生社交外表焦虑的影响间具有链式中介作用。

Objective: To explore the internal mechanism of the relationship between perfectionism concern over mistakes and social appearance anxiety of college students, this study constructed a multiple mediation model, focusing on the mediation effects of fear of negative evaluation and intolerance of uncertainty between perfectionism concern over mistakes and social appearance anxiety. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted among 630 college students. Results:(1)Correlation analysis showed that perfectionism concern over mistakes, fear of negative evaluation, intolerance of uncertainty and social appearance anxiety were significantly and positively correlated with each other;(2)Fear of negative evaluation and intolerance of uncertainty played a partial mediating role in the relationship between perfectionism concern over mistakes and social appearance anxiety;(3)Fear of negative evaluation and intolerance of uncertainty exerted sequential mediating effects on the association of perfectionism concern over mistakes with social appearance anxiety. Conclusion: Fear of negative evaluation and intolerance of uncertainty are important bridge to understand and explain the effect of perfectionism concern over mistakes on college students’ social appearance anxiety.
