章学诚史学致用的理论化构建

Theoretical construction of application of Zhang Xuecheng's historiography

章学诚所构建的理论以“道”为基础,共分三层,即天道、人道、先王之道,三者是由普遍性到特殊性,由抽象到具体的过程。在这三层“道”说中,章学诚尤其重视第二层的人道,并由人道为基础将经世致用学理化,并进一步将“六经皆史”纳入其中,从而完成了“六经皆史”理论基础的构建。至此,章学诚成为了中国传统史学致用思想的集大成者。

The theory constructed by Zhang Xuecheng is based on "Tao", which is divided into three layers, namely, natural law, humanity and the way of the former kings. All of the three is a process from universality to particularity, from abstraction to concretization. Among the three levels of "Tao" theory, Zhang Xuecheng pays much special attention to the second layer of humanity, and he rationalized the theory of practical application and further incorporated the "Six Confucian Classics Being History"into it, thus completing the construction of the theoretical basis of "Six Confucian Classics Being History". So far, Zhang Xuecheng has actually become a master of the practical thought of Chinese traditional historiography.
