The article describes the research on the automation technology of the steel pipe coating production line,the automatic tracking technology of the steel pipe on the coating conveyor line,mainly the design and selection of the sensor,the preparation of the PLC program,and the establishment of the program of the steel pipe transmission speed change in the program algorithm.It also briefly introduces the full picture of the fully integrated automatic control system of the production line,and the matters that should be paid attention to during the use of the field equipment of the automatic control system.
