摘要
Prof.Houze Xu,Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences,a renowned scientist in geodesy and geophysics,passed away due to illness on August 31,2021,in Wuhan,at the age of 87.Since 2014,Prof.Xu has served as the editor-in-chief of Geodesy and Geodynamics,a peer-reviewed journal of China Earthquake Administration.He helped increase the journal’s visibility within the geoscience community.
