哮喘患儿主要照顾者自我效能在应对方式对生活质量影响的中介效应

Coping style and quality of life of caregivers of children with asthma:the mediating effect of self-efficacy

目的探讨哮喘患儿主要照顾者自我效能在应对方式和生活质量的中介效应。方法采用便利抽样法,从江苏省无锡市某儿童医院抽取197例哮喘患儿主要照顾者,采用应对方式、一般自我效能量表、生活质量量表调查哮喘患儿主要照顾者,并构建中介效应模型。结果哮喘患儿主要照顾者的积极应对方式问卷、消极应对方式得分分别为(28.56±3.78)分和(17.29±2.35)分,自我效能得分为(25.76±2.76)分,生活质量得分最高为情感职能(75.02±11.43)分,得分最低是活力(60.57±7.56)分。哮喘患儿主要照顾者的自我效能在积极应对方式、消极应对方式和生活质量间具有中介作用,中介效应为0.156、-0.126。结论哮喘患儿主要照顾者的应对方式,自我效能和生活质量关系密切,应对方式通过自我效能影响生活质量。应采取措施提高照顾者保持积极应对方式,增加其照顾患儿的自我效能,提高生活质量。

Objective To explore the relationship between coping style,self-efficacy,and quality of life of the caregivers of children with asthma.Methods The Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ),General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES),and the SF-36 Health Survey Scales(the SF 36 scales)were used to investigate 197 main caregivers of children with asthma from a children’s hospital in Wuxi City,Jiangsu Province,and the mediation effect model was constructed.Results The average scores of positive coping style and negative coping style of the caregivers of children with asthma were(28.56±3.78)and(17.29±2.35),respectively.The score of GSES score was(25.76±2.76).The highest score for the SF 36 scales is Role Emotional(75.02±11.43),and the lowest score is Vitality(60.57±7.56).The self-efficacy of the caregivers of children with asthma served a mediating effect between coping style(both positive and negative)and quality of life,and the mediating effects were 0.156 and-0.126,respectively.Conclusion The coping styles,self-efficacy are associated to quality of life among caregivers of children with asthma.Coping styles affect the quality of life through self-efficacy.Measures should be taken to improve caregivers to maintain positive coping styles,hence increasing self-efficacy in caring for children and improving quality of life.
