On the Establishment of Transportation Station in Hubei-Henan-Anhui Revolutionary Bases Area

鄂豫皖革命根据地位于湖北、河南、安徽三省边界地区,是土地革命战争时期,中国共产党领导创建的规模较大、坚持时间最长的革命根据地。早在土地革命战争时期,为了确保与革命根据地的紧密联系,党中央就在鄂豫皖革命根据地周边建立了红色交通站。通过交通站向根据地的党组织传递党中央和中央苏区的文件;输送人员、干部;运送药品等紧缺战略物资;也通过交通站向党中央送交经费、情报等。星罗棋布的红色交通站,成为党的重要神经和血脉,汇集成了川流不息的交通网,在党史上写下光辉不朽的篇章。

Hubei-Henan-Anhui revolutionary bases lay in the borders of these three provinces,which were the comparatively large and longest lasting revolutionary bases established by the CPC during the Agrarian Revolutionary War.The central area of the bases was connected with the Jianghuai Plain in the east,the Pinghan Railway in the west,the Yangtze River in the south,and the Huaihe River in the north.As early as in the Agrarian Revolutionary War period,in order to ensure close contact with the revolutionary bases,the Party Central Committee built red traffic stations around them.Through these stations,the Party Central Committee delivered documents,publications and propaganda materials of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Soviet Area to the Party organizations in the base areas,and transported personnel,cadres,equipment,medicine and other strategic materials in short supply.In return,base areas also sent funds,information and so on to the Party Central Committee.The dotted red traffic stations were the Party's important nerves and blood,gathered into a flow of traffic network,and opened glorious immortal prospects for the Party history.
