党和国家深刻总结了中华人民共和国成立七十多年来民族工作取得显著成绩的有益经验,科学剖析了新时代促进民族团结进步事业存在的新问题、新情况,明确提出了坚持党的领导、全面建成小康社会、共筑精神家园、推进各族人民"三交"以及以法律手段处理民族事务等五个维度的战略规划和工作要求,成为新时代推进边疆民族地区民族团结进步事业的政治基础、物质基础、文化基础、社会基础、法治基础的基本遵循,也为新时代推动边疆民族地区民族团结进步事业明晰了发展方向,使边疆民族地区各族人民团结一心投身于实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的奋斗之中。

In the country’s ethnic work,the Party and the state have made a through summary of the remarkable achievements and useful experience in the past 70 years since the founding of PRC,and scientifically analyzed the new problems and new situations in the new era.Then,clear strategic plannings and work requirements have been put forward to promote the cause of national unity and progress in five dimensions,including the principles of adhering to the Party leadership,building a well-off society in an all-round way,building a spiritual home,advancing the“three Jiaos”of people of all ethnic groups,and handling ethnic affairs based on law.They are the political,material,cultural,social and legal foundations and basic observance for us to advance ethnic unity and progress in border ethnic areas in the new era.They also give a clear direction for the new era to push forward the cause of national unity and progress in the border areas,and urge the people of all ethnic groups in the border areas to unite and devote themselves to the struggle to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream.
