摘要
隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,也是人类思维和认知世界的方式。研究隐喻认知理论对于发现语言的内在联系,寻找逻辑推理依据以及促进语言教学的途径具有非常重要的意义。在英语教学中培养学生的隐喻能力是改进英语教学的一种有效途径,将隐喻理论所包含的认知意义运用于语言教学中,必将为词汇教学、阅读教学、写作教学以及文化教学带来新的生气。因此,隐喻认知理论具有非常重要的实际应用价值。本文将对隐喻理论的定义、实质进行简要论述,并结合英语教学的特点,阐释隐喻理论在英语词汇教学、阅读教学、写作教学以及文化教学中的教学启示。
The phenomenon of metaphor is not merely for language,it is also a reflection of mental facility and cognitive instrument.The study of metaphor is of great importance in finding out the interrelations and logic between languages as well as improving foreign language teaching.Cultivating students'metaphoric competence has become a significant aim in language teaching,specifically in teaching vocabulary,reading,writing and culture.This paper intends to introduce metaphor and illustrates implications of metaphor for vocabulary,reading,writing and culture teaching.
