基于语料库的中国英语学习者转述动词使用考查

摘要 本研究以30篇国际期刊Applied Linguistics研究性论文为参考语料,创建本族语学者语料库,同时选取中国大陆地区外国语言学及应用语言学专业硕、博阶段学位论文各30篇,创建中国英语学习者语料库(含硕、博子库)。语料库分析结果表明:中国英语学习者与本族语学者在转述动词语义内涵、评价趋势、时态维度上存在显著差异,在语态维度上更多使用主动语态;随着英语水平的提升,硕博阶段的中国学习者在语义内涵、评价趋势、时态维度上与本族语者的差距在逐步缩小;但其在转述动词语态维度的发展方面呈现一定的僵化特征。 This study selected 30 research articles of Applied Linguistics to build corpus of native scholars as reference corpus,and corpus of Chinese EFL learners was established with two sub-corpora,i.e.,Sub-corpus of Chinese MA Students and Sub-corpus of Chinese PhD students,respectively represented by thirty Chinese MA students'theses and thirty PhD students'dissertations in the field of Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.It is found that there are significant differences between Chinese EFL learners and native scholars in denotative meaning,evaluative potential and tense,but no significant differences in voice.With the improvement of their English proficiency,the gap between Chinese learners with master's and doctoral degrees and native scholars in terms of denotative meaning,evaluative potential and tense is gradually narrowing.However,Chinese graduate students'interlanguage development for the voice of reporting verbs is fossilized to some extent.
