A Meta-Analysis of Factors Influencing Scientific Data Sharing Behavior

针对当前科学数据共享行为影响因素的不同研究结果之间的差异,对影响科研人员科学数据共享行为的关键因素进行系统性检验,以期为相关政策措施的制定提供参考。遵循元分析方法流程对纳入研究范围的17项实证研究、88个效应值进行编码与合并计算,以及对其敏感性、出版偏倚、主效应和调节效应等进行分析。研究表明,科研人员的科学数据共享行为受多种因素的复杂影响,其中数据共享态度与共享意愿是关键因素。相对于国别因素,学科因素在部分结果中的调节效应更显著。期刊出版商、资助机构、图书馆等利益相关者可充分发挥自身优势,制定与完善数据共享政策规范,提供更加差异化、多样化、高效率的数据共享服务。

The paper examines systematically the key factors influencing scientific data sharing behavior of researchers in response to the different study results on the factors,with a view to providing references for the development of related policy measures.The methodological process of meta-analysis was followed to code and combine 17 satisfactory empirical research results,with a total of 88 effect'values,and with special emphasis on the analysis of the sensitivity,publication bias,main effects,and moderating effects of them.The study shows that scientific data sharing behavior of researchers is influenced by a complex set of factors,among which data sharing attitude and intention are the key factors.The moderating effect of disciplinary factors was more significant than country-specific factors in some of the results.Stakeholders such as journal publishers,funding agencies,and libraries can give full play to their strengths to develop and improve data sharing policies and norms,and provide more differentiated,diverse,and efficient data sharing services.
