The Changing Faces of Reading in One Hundred Years in China

2021年是中国共产党建党一百周年,文章从阅读史的视角对中国百年来大众阅读变迁进行了系统思考。百年来,中国大众阅读变迁完成了由精英阅读向大众阅读、全民阅读的转变,实现了由城市阅读向城乡共读的转变,实现了从新文化到社会主义文化的转变,由单调的阅读走向了多彩的阅读,阅读支撑体系由零散走向系统,呈现出更为开阔的阅读新格局。

The year 2021 marks the centennial of the Communist Party of China.This article systematically explores the changes of reading in China in the past hundred years from the perspective of reading history.In a hundred years,Chinese people's reading habits have gone through a series of changes:the transition from elite reading to society-wide reading;the fostering of rural communities'reading habits along with its urban counterparts;the change from the new culture to the socialist culture;diversified reading channels are formed;the reading support system is evolving from scattered to systematic;the presence of a more broadening reading habits among Chinese people.
