摘要 生物质炭是作物秸秆、果木修剪枝条、农产品下脚料、动物粪便等各种来源的废弃生物质在厌氧环境下发生热解反应生成的黑色固体。早在2006年,科学家提出将生物质炭施于土壤,以提高土壤肥力。这一思想源于亚马孙河流域黑色肥沃土壤的发现。南美洲的亚马孙河流域是世界上最大的热带雨林区,因高温多雨,该地区土壤有机质分解快,导致土壤快速退化而贫瘠。 Croplands in China are generally poor in organic matter and thus of low soil fertility,without wide recycling of massive waste biomass from crop production.Biochar-based farming technologies could open up a new route to green agriculture.
