This paper analyzes the different quenching methods of steel tubes,the applicability and localization of three different forms of quenching process,and introduces the core equipment multi-functional bath of the"external spraying+internal spraying+rotary+semi-immersion"process in detail.The multi-functional bath can realize many kinds of quenching process.The calculation formulas of main technical parameters of the bath are analyzed and put forward.The core function and technical advantages of the bath are introduced in detail,which improves the content of quenched martensite in steel pipe,reduces the difference of circumferential and axial hardness of steel pipe,and the high quality shape and position size greatly improves the yield of subsequent wire turning.
