互文性视域下《琵琶行》英译的人物形象建构

On the Construction of Characters in the English Translated Text of Song of a Pipa Player from the Perspective of Intertextuality

互文性理论对翻译研究,尤其是对诗词英译研究大有裨益。同时,诗歌人物形象往往是理解原诗的关键因素之一。以互文性理论为基础,从文学形式、文化意象与神话传说三方面对《琵琶行》英译本中诗歌人物形象进行分析,以期探明该诗歌中琵琶女与诗人形象的建构过程,从而彰显互文性理论对英译诗歌中人物形象建构的启示意义,为中国文化“走出去”提供新的视角和路径。

The theory of intertextuality is of great benefit to the translation studies,particularly to the English translation of poetry.Meanwhile,the character image is often one of the key factors to understand the original poem.Based on the theory of intertextuality,this research is to analyze the character images in the English translated text of Song of a Pipa Player to seek out the female Pipa image and the process formation of it to reveal the role of the theory of intertextuality in the construction of character images in the translation of poetry from the literary forms,cultural imagery and myths as well as legends.Thus,this research can also offer a new perspective of study for the"going global"of our Chinese culture.
