论汉字传承与中国文明延续的辩证发展关系

On the Dialectical Development Relationship between the Inheritance of Chinese Writing and the Continuation of Chinese Civilization

自古以来,汉字的传承与中国文明的延续就始终保持着相互成就、共同成长,不断变革创新的辩证发展关系,二者在历史长河中始终存在着高度的一致性。汉字符号的孕育及其符号构意规律源于史前中国多种文化的相互作用,与早期中国文明的“多元”性质相互一致。汉字体系最终在夏、商时期完成,又与中国文明的“一体”状态相互一致。中国文明和汉字书写体系最终定型于中原之后,汉字传承活动主要表现为对儒学文献和汉字文言传统的共同维护与自觉传承。汉字文言跨越方言和语言的鸿沟,成为东亚地区最具代表性的文化符号。儒学文献塑造了东亚文明圈内各民族、各国共同的价值观,表达了“天下大同”的政治理想、和谐共生的生活理念。在中国文明再度复兴的发展进程中,对汉字传承与文明延续辩证发展关系的充分揭示与自觉维护,仍然具有重大的理论价值和现实指导意义。

Since ancient times,the inheritance of Chinese writing and the continuation of Chinese civilization both have always maintained a dialectical development relationship of mutual achievement,common growth,and constant change and innovation.The dialectical development relationship between them has always maintained a high degree of coherence in a long history.The Chinese writing signs and their formation rules originated from the interaction of many prehistoric cultures,it was consistent with the“multi-sources”nature of the early Chinese civilization.The system of Chinese writing was finally completed in the Xia and Shang dynasties,it was consistent with the“one-body”state of Chinese civilization.After Chinese civilization and the system of Chinese writing were finally formed in the central plains,Chinese writing inheritage mainly manifested in the joint maintenance and conscious inheritance of Confucian literatures and the“Wenyan”tradition.Wenyan has eliminated the gap between dialects and languages and evolved to be the most representative cultural symbol in East Asian Civilization.Confucian literature has shaped the common values of all nations and countries in the cultural circle of Chinese writing in East Asia,and expressed the political ideal of“great harmony under heaven”,and the life concept of harmonious coexistence.In the great rejuvenation of Chinese civilization,the full disclosure and conscious maintenance of the dialectical development relationship between the inheritance of Chinese writing and the continuation of civilization are still of great theoretical value and practical guiding significance.
