新型氟硫磷酸盐激光玻璃结构及性质研究 被引量:2

Structure and properties of new fluoro-sulfo-phosphate laser glasses

摘要 稀土掺杂氟硫磷酸盐玻璃具有光学光谱特性优异、热稳定性及化学稳定性高等特点,有望成为新型激光玻璃及高增益有源光纤的候选材料.然而,由于该玻璃体系具有复杂的混合阴离子结构,因此成分变化对结构和性能的潜在贡献仍不清楚.本文表征了多种氟硫磷酸盐玻璃形成区、结构及Nd3+掺杂光学光谱特性.结果表明,氟硫磷酸盐玻璃不仅继承了氟磷酸盐玻璃高稀土离子溶解度、低折射率和声子态密度等优势,混合多阴离子结构还有效提升了玻璃热稳定性、化学稳定性及光谱参数.本文制备的氟硫磷酸盐激光玻璃具有良好的成玻性能,非线性折射率最低值为1.2×10-13esu,抗析晶稳定性?T最高值为181°C,高化学稳定性(DRmin=0.7×10^(-7)g cm^(-2)min^(-1))和弹性模量(E_(max)=68.8 GPa).Nd^(3+):^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(11/2)发射截面最高值为3.3×10^(-20)cm^(2),有效线宽最高达32.1 nm,寿命最高值为372μs,光谱品质因子与增益带宽分别达到1.2×10^(-23)s cm^(2)和105.9×10^(-27)cm^(3),多项参数优于磷酸盐及氟磷酸盐激光玻璃,有望应用于激光玻璃、光纤激光器与放大器等领域. Rare-earth-doped fluoro-sulfo-phosphate(FSP) glass is characterized by excellent spectroscopic properties and high thermal and chemical stabilities.Therefore,it is a potential candidate for laser glass and high-gain active optical fiber matrix.However,the underlying contributions of compositional variations to the structure and properties of FSP glass systems are still indistinct owing to their complex mixed-anion nature.Herein,the glass-forming region,structure,physical,and luminescent properties of several FSP glasses are characterized.The results show that FSP glasses possess the advantages of fluoro-phosphate glasses such as high rareearth ion solubility,low refractive index and phonon density of states.Meanwhile,the mixed-anion structure improves the thermal and chemical stabilities,elastic modulus and spectroscopic parameters.The fabricated FSP samples have good glass-forming ability,low nonlinear refractive index(minimum:1.2×10^(-13) esu),good thermal stability(?T_(max)=181°C),chemical stability(DR_(min)=0.7×10^(-7) g cm^(-2) min^(-1)) and relatively high elastic modulus(E_(max)=68.8 GPa).The maximum emission cross-section of Nd^(3+):^(4) F_(3/2)→^(4) I_(11/2) is 3.3×10^(-20) cm^(2),effective linewidth is 32.1 nm,lifetime is 372 μs,and FOM and gain bandwidth are 1.2×10^(-23) s cm^(2) and105.9×10^(-27) cm^(3),respectively.These results are higher than those of phosphate or fluoro-phosphate laser glasses,indicating the broad application prospects of FSP glasses in laser glass,fiber lasers and amplifiers.
