毛泽东关于铸牢中华民族共同体意识的思考及其启示

Mao Zedong’s Thinking and Inspirations on Forging Community Consciousness of the Chinese Nation

中华民族是中国各民族凝结而成的大家庭,而各族人民对中华民族大家庭的认同形成了中华民族共同体意识。毛泽东认为,铸牢中华民族共同体意识,一方面要克服近代狭隘民族主义的思想残余,让各族人民培育共同的革命荣誉感与历史记忆;另一方面要发挥民族区域自治制度维系中华民族共同体的制度功能,以及走中华民族共同繁荣发展的社会主义道路。毛泽东的思考,为当代民族工作提供了重要启示:铸牢中华民族共同体意识,根本之道是坚持发展社会主义,政治上要坚持和完善民族区域自治制度,防止狭隘民族主义,筑牢中华民族共同体的人心防线,战略上要强化对于中华民族共同体的深层次认同,将提高"五个认同"贯彻落实到国家事务和社会生活的各个环节之中。

The identity of Chinese people of all ethnic groups to the big family of the Chinese nation constitutes the consciousness of the community of the Chinese nation. Mao Zedong proposed that we must overcome the remnants of modern narrow nationalism, cultivate the sense of historical honor and memory shared by the people of all ethnic groups. In addition, we should give play to the institutional function of regional ethnic autonomy to safeguard national unity and follow the socialist path of common prosperity of Chinese nation. Mao Zedong’s thinking has provided important enlightenment for the contemporary ethnic work. The fundamental way to foster the consciousness of the Chinese nation community is to persist in developing socialism. Politically, we must adhere to the system of regional ethnic autonomy. We must guard against narrow nationalism to build a solid line of defense for the Chinese nation community. Strategically, we must construct a deep cultural identity for the Chinese nation community. We will implement the “five identities” in all aspects of national affairs and social life.
