《中国社会各阶级的分析》是毛泽东转向马克思主义后运用阶级分析法解决中国革命问题的经典力作。对这个文本的解读仅仅立足于文本本身是不够的,从毛泽东思想史来看,这个文本实际上是标识毛泽东早期思想转变的一个重要文本,是毛泽东转向马克思主义后与以往非马克思主义思想的彻底决裂、清算,并运用马克思主义基本原理初步进行中国化实践的关键文本,同时也是毛泽东开始从社会问题走向社会革命、从社会革命深入政治革命的真正开端。从本质层面讲,明确"社会革命"思想显然是毛泽东真正把握社会和革命有机辩证统一的产物,既包含着对社会问题认识的深入,又包含着对革命性质的再思考,是蕴含着总体性、历史性和辩证性的唯物辩证法思维,对新时代把握"社会革命"命题亦具有重要的方法论指导意义。

Analysis of the Classes in Chinese Society is Mao Zedong’s classic masterpiece of applying class analysis to solve the problems of the Chinese revolution after his turn to Marxism.It may not be enough to interpret the text on the basis of literal facts,but the history of the Maoism suggests that it was an important text that marked the shift in Mao Zedong’s early thinking.It is the key text of Mao Zedong’s radical break with the non-Marxist thought after his turn to Marxism,his liquidation and initial practice of sinicization by applying the basic principles of Marxism.It was also the real beginning of Mao Zedong’s transformation from social problems to social revolution and from social revolution to political revolution,so it has both a strongly theoretical and a strong sense of reality.In essence,it is obvious that the thought of“social revolution”is the thinking crystallization of Mao Zedong’s real grasp of the organically dialectical unity of society and revolution,whichcontains not only the in-depth understanding of social problems,but also the rethinking of the nature of revolution,and the materialist dialectic thinking of overall,historical and dialectical nature.Therefore,it has important methodological guiding significance to grasp the proposition of“social revolution”in the new era.
