The political and economic situation in today’s world is undergoing intricate changes,and the domestic and international economic situation presents an unprecedented complex pattern.In particular,under the influence of COVID-19,the economic development is full of uncertainty and instability.Accelerating the construction of a new development pattern with the domestic cycle as the main body and a double(domestic and international)cycle promoting each other is an inevitable choice based on the characteristics of China’s current new development stage and a strategic arrangement in line with the advantages of the new development stage.It is essential to closely focus on the current situation of economic and social development at home and abroad and adhere to deepening the reform and innovation.The new era promotes the formation of a double cycle,which provides important guiding suggestions for the construction of a new development pattern in China during the 14th Five-year Plan period,and is also a key measure to start the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.
