礼治视域下朝鲜王朝的东亚交邻--以申叔舟的对外交涉为核心

Joseon Dynasty's Diplomacy in East Asia from Perspective of Ruling by Rites--Centering on Sin Suk-Ju's diplomatic activities

15世纪朝鲜王朝的东亚交邻以对明、对日交涉为中心,申叔舟掌管礼曹,是负责朝鲜对外交涉的重要人物。他礼学修养深厚,完善对外仪礼,并运用礼治思想开展对外关系。将申叔舟的对外活动置于礼治视域下进行考察,可知朝鲜东亚交邻的二重性,即对明以礼事大,依靠明朝字小之仁保国图存;对日以礼羁縻,在保境安邻的同时构建小宗藩体系,而清朝时期又再次追遵了礼的价值。

In the 15 th century, Joseon Dynasty developed diplomatic relations with the Ming Dynasty and Japan. Sin Suk-Ju, who administered the department of rites and ceremonies, played an important role in Joseon’s foreign diplomacy. He was proficient in ritual study, tried to perfect the ritual system and solved diplomatic problems with ideas of ruling by rites. The analysis of Sin Suk-Ju’s diplomatic activities from the perspective of rites can indicates the duality of Joseon Dynasty’s diplomacy: treating the Ming Dynasty with respect and ritual etiquette to obtain protection;restraining Japan by ritual rules to comfort the neighboring country and construct the tributary system. In the Qing Dynasty, the values of rites were again traced back and followed.
