摘要
以系统功能语言学中的及物性系统作为研究路径,对比分析经典著作《论语》及其英译本中所蕴含的生态意义,发现《论语》英译本通过减少人类生命体作为参与者,尽可能通过参与者角色拟人化,立体描述环境成分等方式来体现其蕴含的生态意义。
Taking the transitive system in systemic linguistics as a research path,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the ecological significance in The Analects of Confucius and its English translation.It is found that The Analects of Confucius and its English version embody their ecological significance by reducing the number of human beings as participants,as much as possible through personification of participants'roles,and three dimensional description of environmental elements.
