This paper introduces a failure of the window lifter system of a new SAIC Volkswagen Tiguan car produced in July 2015.Due to the damage of the driver's door control unit,the left front door window of the vehicle has an occasional automatic drop failure phenomenon.The article analyzes the circuit diagram of the comfort/portable system by checking the circuit diagram and maintenance manual.The working principle of the window lift system and checking the circuit terminals and switches will fi nally lock the fault point in the driver's door control unit,and after dealing with the troubleshooting after replacing the new control unit,the failure will be solved.
