Report on the Development of Higher Vocational Education in Henan Province

高等职业教育是高等教育体系的重要组成部分,做大做强高等职业教育,对河南省在新时期实施好创新驱动、科教兴省、人才强省战略,实现经济和社会高质量发展具有重大意义。2020年河南省普通高职高专院校在校生已经突破100万人,规模位居全国前列,但是由于主客观因素的影响,河南高等职业教育高质量发展还面临不少困难。只有建立大职业教育的战略思维,尽快完善职业教育体系,优化师资队伍,建立科学的评价机制和“三个结合”职业教育人才培养模式,才能使职业教育与经济社会的发展需要相匹配。

Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education system.To make higher vocational education bigger and stronger is of great significance for Henan province in the new period to implement the strategy of innovation-driven,the strategy of revitalizing the province through science and technology,and the strategy of strengthening the province with talents,and realize high-quality economic and social development.In 2020,the number of higher vocational college students in Henan province exceeded 1 million,and this scale ranked among the top in China.However,due to the influence of subjective and objective factors,we still face many difficulties in developing higher vocational education with high-quality in Henan province.Only when we establish the strategic thinking of the great vocational education,complete the system of vocational education system as quickly as possible,optimize the faculty,establish scientific evaluation mechanism and the talents cultivation mode with“three combinations”,is it possible to make vocational education match with the needs of economic and social development.
