Lu Ruoteng witnessed the decline and collapse of the Ming Dynasty and the reconstruction of the Nanming regime,which is representative among the survivors of the Ming Dynasty.His poetry writing records his realistic situation and internal psychological changes,reflecting the loyalty complex of the Ming Dynasty,the tragic spirit of knowing what to do and the hermit mentality of building a spiritual home.
