摘要
衰老是有机体各项生理机能随着时间发生变化的过程。在衰老过程中神经系统功能下降是造成感觉、运动和认知等行为退化的重要原因。本文介绍我国衰老的神经生物学领域取得的重要研究成果,并就神经系统信号和机体寿命调控、神经系统衰老和行为退化、神经系统衰老的生物学机制和延缓神经系统衰老的相关研究进行总结和展望。
Aging is a process that progressively accumulates physiological changes with time.Aging is also accompanied by the deterioration of sensory,motor and cognitive functions.Age-related functional decline in the nervous system is a major cause for the deterioration of these behavioral functions.Recently,the research on neural mechanisms of aging and behavioral decline progresses rapidly.In this review,we will summarize recent advances on the role of neuronal signaling in the regulation of longevity,the neural basis of behavioral deteriorations,the regulatory mechanism underlying aging of the nervous system,and approaches for delaying aging of the nervous system.In addition,we will also introduce some remarkable achievements made by Chinese scientists in the field of neural aging.
