This paper introduces the coding rules of PPIS and the design idea of PPIS coding software.Using artificial intelligence recognition technology,a web-based PPIS coding management system is developed,which is simple to operate,powerful and greatly improves the coding efficiency.It has been widely used in the PPIS coding projects of major hydropower plants in the national energy group.
