摘要
骨形态发生蛋白(BMP)5是BMP家族的重要成员,在机体细胞增殖、凋亡过程中发挥重要作用。BMP5基因广泛表达于人体的脑、肾、眼等器官组织,参与多种生理和病理过程,如骨骼和软骨的形成、人类干细胞的分化诱导、肿瘤的发生和预后。BMP5参与人体胚胎发育过程以及成熟生物个体组织损伤的修复,作用机制复杂。肿瘤威胁着人类健康与生命,了解BMP5在肿瘤发生发展过程中的可能作用及其可能涉及的分子生物学机制,对疾病的治疗具有重要意义。
Bone morphogenetic protein(BMP)5 is an important member of the BMP family and plays an important role in cell proliferation and apoptosis in the organism.The BMP5 gene is widely expressed in the human brain,kidney,eye,and other organ tissues and is involved in several physiological and pathological processes,such as bone and cartilage formation,differentiation induction of human stem cells,tumorigenesis and prognosis.BMP5 is involved in the process of human embryonic development as well as in the repair of tissue injuries in mature organisms,and the mechanism of action is complex.Neoplastic diseases are threatening the human health and life,and understanding the possible role of BMP5 during tumorigenesis and its possible involved molecular biological mechanisms is of great significance for the treatment of the diseases.
