摘要
陆游向松源崇岳问法一事屡见于后世佛教文献,僧传灯录等更是将陆游视为松源禅师的法嗣。然而实际上,二人各自作品中没有任何对交往事迹的记载,唯一的关联只有陆游为松源禅师所作《塔铭》一篇。细究二人行迹,重叠之处甚少。事实上,二人并没有直接交往,后世文献中的记载实属“虚构”。“问法”与法嗣之说虽然一定程度上是僧人出于自抬身价的心态编造而成,并不可信,但这正透露出中国传统宗教系谱宽松的特点。
Lu You’s asking for Dharma from Songyuan is often found in later Buddhist literature,so it follows that Lu You was even regarded as the successor of Zen Master Songyuan in the monk’s biographies.As a matter of fact,there is no record of their interactions in their respective works.The only connection lies in Lu You’s epitaph for Zen Master Songyuan.There is little overlap between them.They do not have any direct contact.The records in later literature have turned out to be“fictitious”.Although the“asking for Dharma”and“the heir of Dharma”are incredibly fabricated by monks out of the mentality of self-promotion to a certain extent,all this reveals the characteristics of the loose genealogy of traditional Chinese religion.
