加强生物多样性保护 实现人与自然和谐共生

Strengthen biodiversity conservation to achieve the harmony between man and nature

加强生物多样性保护,是满足人民群众对美好生态环境向往的重要手段,也是维护国家生态安全、加快提高生态文明水平的迫切需求。在习近平生态文明思想指引下,我国生物多样性主流化进程明显提速,保护体系不断完善与加强,生物遗传资源保护水平显著提高,生态系统保护与修复取得重大进展,生物多样性保护工作取得积极进展。面对生物多样性丧失等全球性挑战,各国是同舟共济的命运共同体。作为《生物多样性公约》缔约方大会第十五次会议(COP15)的东道国和主席国,我们以COP15召开为契机,进一步健全生物多样性保护体制机制,大力实施生物多样性保护重大工程,严控重要生态空间和生物资源开发与利用,强化生物多样性保护科学技术支撑,为全球生物多样性治理做出更大的贡献,推动共建万物和谐的美丽世界。

Strengthening biodiversity conservation is an important approach to meet public requirement for good ecology and environment as well as urgent need for safeguarding national eco-safety and accelerating the development of ecological civilization.Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, mainstreaming biodiversity process has enjoyed significant acceleration in China with increasing improvement and enhancement of the conservation system.Moreover, great improvement and progress have been obtained in the conservation of biological genetic resources as well as the protection and restoration of ecosystems.As a result, great achievements have been made on biodiversity conservation.Facing severe global challenges such as loss of biodiversity, all countries in the world are a community with shared future.As the host country and Presidency of the 15 th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties(COP15) to the Convention on Biological Diversity(CBD),China will take holding COP15 as a good opportunity, to further improve the system and mechanism for biodiversity conservation and carry out major projects on conservation of biodiversity, strictly control the development and use of important ecological space and biological resources, reinforce scientific and technological support to biodiversity conservation, and make greater contributions to global biodiversity governance and promote the building of a beautiful world of harmony amony all being on the planet.
