Zan Zuo is an important masterpiece of Jia Pingwa.He rewrites the city of XI Jing with a new spatial narrative.On the one hand,this novel pays further attention to and discusses the living space of women,examining the individual vitality of women from a modern perspective.On the other hand,the author reflects the problems and development difficulties faced by urban and rural culture in the new era based on the study of urban and rural space.Moreover,the author gives a deep exploration to the power space existed in cities,focusing on the mental problems in the development of human civilizations from the perspective of literature.Thereby,the author not only reshapes the aesthetic representation of literary space by means of women,power and culture but also expands the depth and breadth of literary practice.
